Museum Store Hosts Holiday Weekend
Sales Special for Current Members

RALEIGH, N.C. (November 23, 2002) - The Raleigh City Museum's store will hold a Holiday Weekend Sales Special for all current 2002 and 2003 museum members the weekend after Thanksgiving. All current members are encouraged to join us Friday, November 29 from 10am to 4pm, Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 from 1pm to 4pm when the Museum Store will feature a special 20% DISCOUNT off purchases made on most items (some consignment items will be excluded). The savings is an extra 10% on top of the regular 10% discount given to current members in the store. This will be a great time to catch up on holiday shopping and save money as well!

In addition to the sales special, the museum will reprise its popular holiday exhibit "Celebrating a Capital Season" beginning November 29 and running through January 5, 2003. This photographic exhibit reminisces about holiday seasons of long ago when Fayetteville Street hosted the annual Raleigh Christmas Parade and downtown department stores were thronged with holiday shoppers. Be sure to include the exhibit on your seasonal visit list.
