Raleigh City Museum Presents...
"Time Warp 2003"
RALEIGH, N.C. (April 25, 2003) - The Raleigh City Museum will host its annual spring
fundraiser, "Time Warp 2003," on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. This year's event -
the fourth annual - will be held inside the museum's Main Gallery at 220 Fayetteville
Street Mall as well as outside on the 200-block of the Mall.
"Time Warp 2003 is a vibrant celebration of music and history," says Jennifer Kulikowski,
the Museum's executive director. Kulikowski added that, for the fourth year in a row,
Carrabba's Italian Grill of 4821 Capital Boulevard in Raleigh will provide guests with
a main course meal that includes salad, entrée and dessert. "We are proud of our continued
community partnership with Carrabba's Italian Grill of Raleigh, and thank proprietor George
Valashinas and his staff for providing our guests with a scrumptious dinner."
Musical entertainment for Time Warp 2003 will be provided by the Cyndra Fyore Jazz Band.
While guests enjoy food, music and dancing they may also submit bids on a vast selection
of silent auction items donated to the Museum for the event. "Our silent auction event
will feature an array of spectacular items donated by area retailers and organizations,"
says Heather Robbins, Chairperson of Time Warp 2003. "We have items ranging from creations
by local artists and weekend getaway trips, to gift certificates and merchandise donated by
area retailers - just about any thing for any one!"
Time Warp 2003 also features a raffle drawing that includes two free tickets to anywhere
Southwest Airlines flies in the USA, four green fees to Prestonwood Country Club, a
3-month membership in the Capital City Club, and other great prizes. Tickets for Time
Warp 2003 are available for $20 for the general public, and $15 for current Raleigh City
Museum members. Raffle tickets are available for $5/ticket, or five tickets for $20, and
