Every day at the COR Museum, visitors celebrate the history of our capital city in very personal ways.

Since the museum opened its doors in June 1993, it has been supported by the community through the actions of volunteers, visitors, and members. Community support makes those connections between visitors and the city's past a reality. In particular, membership contributions make possible the museum's exhibit, education, and collections programs.

No matter their background, visitors find ways to connect with the city of Raleigh, its people, and its rich history. Whether reminiscing about the Upstairs Restaurant or learning about Henry Mahler's 19th-century silversmith shop for the first time, visitors find themselves linked to Raleigh in meaningful ways.
