Membership | Volunteers | Donations | Time Warp: Annual Fundraisier

Every day at the Raleigh City Museum, visitors celebrate the history of our capital city in very personal ways.

Since the museum opened its doors in June 1993, it has been supported by the community through volunteerism, visitorship and membership. Community support makes those connections between visitors and the city's past a reality. In particular, membership contributions make possible the museum's exhibit, education and collections programs - the glue that holds together the bridge between visitors and the city.

No matter the background, visitors find ways to connect with the city of Raleigh, its people and its very rich history. Whether remembering the Upstairs Restaurant or learning about Henry Mahler's 19th century silversmith shop for the first time, visitors find themselves tied to Raleigh - and have been doing so for the past twelve years.
