HOMEBREWED RALEIGH

Homebrewed Raleigh

Due to popular demand, Homebrewed is back and even bigger than before! Presented by the Raleigh City Museum, Busy Bee Cafe, Raleigh Beer Week, and New Raleigh, Homebrewed Raleigh is a small beer fest featuring top-notch home brewers. Join us on Saturday, April 21st from either 1:00pm-4:00pm or 5:00pm-8:00pm to drink painstakingly hand-crafted, delicious beer while raising funds for the Raleigh City Museum in the process!

In addition to a beer-tasting session, this year Homebrewed will feature a home brewing beer panel from 12:00-12:45pm and a "Homebrew 101" class taught by the folks of American Brewmaster from 4:00-4:45pm, each at the Busy Bee Cafe. Admission to these events is included in your Homebrewed ticket regardless of which time block is purchased.

We'll have great food courtesy of The Flying Saucer, Busy Bee Cafe, and Tir Na Nog and music by the Southern String Band and the Denbozo Brothers. The folks from the Hopscotch Music Festival with be on hand with giveaways, and Steel String Brewery & Haw River Farmhouse Ales will be sharing special tastings and prizes.

At Homebrewed you can sample over 50 beers....here are a few teasers:

Lemon-Ginger-Passion Fruit Witbier
Robust Porter w/ Kraken Black Spiced Rum Infused Oak
Chocolate Milk Stout
Amarillo Pale Ale
Adult Cream Soda

Trust us, you don't want to miss out on these!

Tickets for each 3-hour window are $25 for museum members and $30 for non-members. To purchase yours, stop by the Raleigh City Museum or call us at (919) 832-3775 to pay by credit card over the phone. Tickets are still available but going quickly. Previous Homebrewed Raleighs have been a blast, so be sure to join us!
