Raleigh City Museum: Education Internship Opportunities
The Raleigh City Museum is a small, non-profit institution that preserves Raleigh’s past for the future. With five employees, each day at the museum is different and interns are expected to perform a variety of tasks expanding outside their primary job duties.
Interns will be expected to learn the museum’s tours and programs as well as create their own. Tour groups range from elementary students to retirement communities, therefore interns must feel comfortable working with all age groups. Visitor Services will also be a primary task for education interns. This category includes staffing the front desk, operating the museum store cash register, answering the museum’s main phone line, and greeting all museum patrons.
The museum's internship positions are currently filled. For more information about our internship program, contact Stormi Souter.
