SPECIAL EVENT: TIME WARP 2011!

Time Warp Postcard

The 2011 Time Warp, our annual fundraiser, is all about coming together to celebrate Raleigh's history, while working together to help preserve its past for the future. We here at the Raleigh City Museum need your help to make that happen!

Our exciting annual fundraising event returns on Thursday, May 19 at a new venue, The Stockroom at 230 Fayetteville Street. This beautifully restored facility offers an historic ambiance, with its hardwood floors and aged brick reminding visitors of the building's past.

The Raleigh City Museum uses money raised from Time Warp to create new exhibits, refresh current exhibits, and to fund our many special events and education programs. In 2010, the museum welcomed 23,000 visitors who helped support to preserve our city’s history. Events such as Time Warp provide us with the resources to support the growing number of visitors we welcome to the museum each year.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 19th, 2011, and support the museum by enjoying an exciting night of celebrating Raleigh’s past for its future. Ticket prices are $50 for non-members and $40 for members.
